Sarla Elastics is a renowned manufacturer of knitted elastic tapes with a monthly production capacity of 10 lac meters. We produce a knitted elastic tape in various sizes from 6 mm up to 100 mm depending upon customer’s requirement. Currently, we manufacture Plain Knitted Elastic and Button Hole Elastics.

Knitted elastic are offered at significantly lower prices when compared to woven elastics owing to lesser number of processes involved and much higher production output. It’s simple in construction and lighter in weight. We manufacture knitted elastics in white, black and custom colour options.

Knitted / Crochet elastics are extremely popular as the cheapest variant of Elastic. Originally, knitted elastic was used primarily in the hosiery market. But with significant upgradation in technology and the quality of raw materials used in manufacturing knitted elastic have become softer, stronger and appropriate for most apparel items. Because it’s lightweight, it’s best-suited for lightweight fabrics. It doesn’t narrow when stretched and is not affected by needle piercing, making it as suitable for direct fabric application as it is for casings.
